Product Category Knowledge: Cheese Basics is part of the Prepare to Serve Fresh Perishable Foods suite for employees. Employees gain a high level understanding of the cheese product category. Employees will learn:
- Cheese nutritional information and how to answer common questions about cheese
- General characteristics, texture, and flavor information for the six classes of cheese presented: Soft, Semi-Soft, Blue, Semi-Hard, Hard, Processed
- Characteristics and common uses for some of the top selling cheeses: American, Swiss, Cheddar, Provolone, and Muenster
The content is reinforced with learner activities and a self-check with detailed feedback for both correct and incorrect answers.
