Ready2Manage: Manage People Performance

Work planning describes a formalized approach to accomplishing the work of an organization, as well as to managing the people who perform that work. We will investigate the importance of preparing formal work plans to manage work priorities. We will see that the work plan itself is a written statement that identifies the work to be accomplished in order to successfully achieve individual, team and organizational goals.
We also explore professional development. This refers to skills and knowledge attained for both personal development and career advancement and encompasses all types of facilitated learning opportunities, ranging from college degrees to formal coursework, conferences and informal learning opportunities situated in practice. We study the process of assessing and improving work quality, as well as investigating the importance of planning professional development, which requires the analysis of past performance to identify strengths and challenges before setting goals and plans for personal improvement.
