Driven primarily by regulatory reform, globalization and technology, change is inevitable. It can happen at any time and can be implemented with little notice. In this course, we will look at how the organization and the individual can work together to embrace change and we will introduce the fundamentals of planning and coping with workplace change. We also investigate the Ending State, the Transition State and the Future State in the change transition process. Our goal will be to identify the various challenges that can be expected in each of these states, including the different reactions that can be anticipated from the people affected. Resistance to change is a natural human reaction. A clear understanding of the specific reasons for the resistance will help you to accept change yourself, as well as to support others.
